Young is a Partner and Co-President of Audax Private Equity, based in Boston, where he helps oversee the strategic direction and operations of the firm. Since joining Audax in 2000, Young has been involved with nearly 350 transactions, including platform and add-on investments. Prior to joining Audax, Young was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. and J.P. Morgan.
Additionally, Young is a member of the Board of Trustees at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; the Chartis Health Equity Advisory Board that works with leading healthcare organizations to achieve measurable health equity outcomes; and the Advisory Board for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. Young is also actively involved with Harvard University, currently serving as a member of the Harvard College Fund Executive Committee.
Young received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. cum laude in economics from Harvard College.
