Background
Headquartered in Bedford, Massachusetts, Data Intensity LLC (“Data Intensity” or, the “Company”) is a leading global provider of application and database managed services via cloud hosted and remote delivery. The Company focuses on Enterprise grade applications and databases primarily around the Oracle ecosystem.
Challenge
When Audax invested in November 2012, Data Intensity was a local provider of niche application support services primarily around the Oracle EBS application. Audax recognized the potential to expand the scope of the company’s services and the footprint of its customer base.
Together with management, Audax completed 5 acquisitions, invested heavily in the salesforce and developed the infrastructure required to scale globally, such as a UK headquarters and offshore customer support in Poland and India. Under Audax’ ownership, Data Intensity broadened its array of enterprise application support services, diversified from its sole dependency on Oracle EBS, increased the depth of its capabilities in engineered systems, and maintained a 90%+ customer retention rate.
