BOSTON and SAN FRANCISCO – June 25, 2026 – The Audax Charitable Foundation (“ACF”), a 501(c)(3) organization operated by Audax Private Equity to support local grassroots charities, announced today its newest grantees, selected as part of the ACF’s spring funding cycle.
The ACF selection committee awarded six $50,000 multi-year grants, a $10,000 extension grant to an existing ACF grantee, and two $7,500 one-time grants. The new commitments span three areas of focus for the ACF: Education, Social Supports & Services, and Arts & Cultural Programs.
“It is an honor to support this collection of organizations,” said Audax Private Equity Partner and Co-President Keith Palumbo. “These latest grantees are pursuing several causes that are deeply meaningful to our employees, including nonprofits aiming to help solve for food insecurity, academic achievement, and several sports- and outdoor-focused programs that can play an invaluable role to help kids stay healthy, build confidence, and understand the value and importance of teamwork.”
Among those receiving multi-year commitments from ACF are:
• Elevate Youth, a returning grantee, which seeks to empower Boston youth through free outdoor experiences alongside trained adult mentors. ACF's grant will support the organization's expansion into new schools, the launch of affinity cohorts, and increased family engagement opportunities.
• Junior Achievement of Greater Boston (JAGB), also a returning grantee, whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people for success. ACF's grant will support the delivery of its quality, in-classroom programming to Boston Public School students.
• Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), which aims to accelerate economic and social impact through inclusive entrepreneurship. ACF's grant will help launch EparaTodos, a free 12-week business accelerator program serving Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs in the Greater Boston area.
• Open Table, which works to try to end hunger in the local community by providing healthy food in ways that respect the dignity and diversity of those served. ACF's grant will help expand and strengthen client outreach efforts, including referrals to other non-food-related supports.
• Boston Partners in Education (BPIE), which works to try to ensure every Boston Public School student is equipped with the skills, opportunities, and confidence to succeed in the classroom and beyond. ACF's grant will support the delivery of its Committed Partnership model, providing enhanced academic mentoring services to schools that otherwise can’t offer these resources.
• Tenacity, which empowers students from under-resourced Boston neighborhoods through literacy support, mentoring, life skills, family engagement, and tennis and fitness instruction. ACF's grant will support the expansion of its “Pathway to Post-Secondary Success” program.
ACF also awarded two special one-time grants, including commitments to:
• Community Rowing, Inc. (CRI), whose “Let's Row” initiative introduces rowing to middle school students from historically underserved communities. ACF's grant will support the continued delivery of the program.
• Harlem Lacrosse, which provides opportunities, relationships, and experiences that help youth succeed as students, athletes, and citizens. ACF's grant will support the expansion of its school-based youth development programming in Chelsea Public Schools, based in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
ACF, recognizing the partnership and collaboration of a previous grantee, also awarded an Extension Grant to:
• Boston Day and Evening Academy (BDEA), which engages young adults through supportive relationships and meaningful competency-based learning experiences. The grant will continue to support the organization's “Alumni Teaching Assistant” Program.
“This spring's class of grantees highlights both the breadth of causes we support and the value of building long-term relationships with our nonprofit partners,” added Pamela Martin, Senior Managing Director at Audax Private Equity. “Engagement has always been a key objective in launching the ACF and a factor in how our team selects new commitments. We’re looking forward to not only helping to fund the charitable efforts of these incredible organizations, but also rolling up our sleeves to support their programs on the ground through volunteer opportunities.”
The selection of the Spring 2026 grantees closely follows Audax Private Equity's Annual Service Day in May. The engagement and connectivity between Audax and ACF grantees was particularly evident at the most recent event, in which over 268 Audax team members contributed approximately 661 volunteer hours across 14 charitable projects – in collaboration with and in service to 12 previous and current ACF grantees.
“When we established ACF in 2021, our goal was to create a meaningful way for employees to support the causes they care about most,” added Young Lee, Partner and Co-President of Audax Private Equity. “As ACF has grown, it has been rewarding to see how each funding cycle reflects the interests and passions of our team. We are incredibly thankful for the time and effort our employees dedicate to nominating charities, evaluating applications, selecting grantees, and supporting these organizations throughout the year. We’re just as grateful – and continually inspired by – the important work that our grantees are advancing across our communities.”
